About SimplrProductivity - Simple Tools for Real Productivity
Learn about our mission to create simple, powerful productivity tools that actually help you get things done. Founded by medical student Tanaka Mawere.
The Story
Hi, I'm Tanaka Mawere, a 6th year medical student and .NET developer. SimplrProductivity was born from my personal frustration with overly complex productivity apps during medical school.
Since starting medical school in 2020, I've been searching for the perfect productivity setup. I tried Notion - it's undoubtedly powerful, but honestly? It was just too much for me. I wanted something simple: track my study time, see how long I spent programming, take quick notes during ward rounds, and jot down what to study afterward. That's it.
But every app I found buried these simple features under client workflows, complex databases, and features I didn't need. During busy ward rounds, I needed something fast and intuitive - not another system to learn.
So I thought: why not just build my own? And that's exactly what I did. SimplrProductivity is productivity tools designed by someone who actually needed them - dead simple, cross-platform, and focused on what matters.
My Philosophy
Dead Simple by Design
As a busy medical student, I learned that complexity kills productivity. Every feature is designed to work instantly, no learning curve required.
Works Everywhere
From hospital computers to personal phones, your productivity tools should follow you. That's why every app works seamlessly across all platforms.
Built for Real Use
These aren't theoretical productivity apps. They're tools I use daily for medical school, coding projects, and life. If they work for me, they'll work for you.
Join the Journey
I'm always improving these apps based on real-world use. Got feedback, ideas, or just want to say hi? I'd love to hear from fellow productivity enthusiasts.
